1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Telly, an Apple TV media player and television organizer developed by Underlabs Inc. (“Underlabs”), handles information. Telly does not require a Telly account and does not sync your personal television library to an Underlabs server.
You supply your own compatible M3U or Xtream source. Telly does not provide channels, movies, series, IPTV subscriptions, provider accounts, credentials, or playlists.
2. Information kept on your Apple TV
Telly stores saved M3U and Xtream connection information, including credentials where applicable, using the Apple TV Keychain. Imported channel, movie, series, programme guide, and artwork catalogue information may be cached locally on your Apple TV.
Your favourites, My Channels, Collections, viewing history, playback progress, provider visibility choices, and other preferences are stored locally. Channel names entered in Add Channels from List are matched on your Apple TV against your imported catalogue. The pasted list is not sent to Underlabs.
Telly does not include its own advertising or analytics service. Its diagnostic logs are designed to omit sensitive provider information such as credentials, private playlist or source URLs, playlist contents, and guide URLs. Apple TV system and device diagnostics may separately be handled by Apple according to your Apple settings and Apple’s policies.
3. Connections to your sources
Importing playlists, guides, and artwork and playing media require Telly to connect directly from your Apple TV to servers associated with sources you configure. Underlabs does not proxy or relay these requests. The servers may receive your IP address, request times, requested resources or content, and authentication information required by your configured source. Those third parties’ privacy practices govern how they handle that information.
Telly accepts user-entered HTTP sources after a warning. HTTP is not encrypted and can expose connection information and media in transit. Use HTTPS when your source supports it.
4. Purchases
Apple StoreKit handles Telly’s App Store purchases. Telly offers a free 14-day access product that does not automatically renew or charge you when it expires. Lifetime Access is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription.
Telly uses verified Apple transaction information to determine access and restore eligible purchases. Underlabs does not receive your payment-card details through Telly. Apple’s privacy practices apply to App Store purchase processing.
5. Your choices and retention
You choose and manage the sources you add. When source removal completes, Telly removes its saved connection information and imported provider catalogue. It does not necessarily remove separate personal-library or history records that refer to content previously associated with that source.
Other local information remains until you change or remove it in Telly, or the app or device data is removed, subject to Apple TV storage and backup behavior. Expiration of the free access period does not itself delete your saved sources or personal library.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. The updated version will carry a new “Last updated” date.
For privacy questions, use the Underlabs contact page. Do not send provider passwords, credentials, or private playlist URLs in a support request.
